He's a FAKE LOL
COPIED AND PASTED
Times – and particularly teen girls’ fickle fancies – move fast. Which is how, despite Zac Efron being the hottest heartthrob ever thanks to last year’s High School Musical 3, the 22-year-old actor is now pretty much yesterday’s news thanks to Robert Pattinson.
Despite publicly claiming, “It’s great, because now I don’t get so much female attention,” about the transference of attention onto Rob, Zac’s been busy taking notes on what Mr Pattinson says and does. So, in order to regain his status as the gorgeous go-to guy at the top of every director’s wish-list, Ahlan! reveals the ways in which Zac’s been secretly copying Robert...
Dirty himself up!
Robert’s insistence that he is a smelly and dirty boy is well documented, and the star last week, spilled, “[My] jeans are a few days old. But the top is probably fresh because it gets to the point where even I can’t stand the air around me. I don’t know, my personal hygiene – it’s so disgusting!” All of which caused the usually very clean-cut Zac to counter with, “I wore [my jeans] all throughout High School Musical 3. I even wore them hiking. You have to wear them everywhere to get them right.”
Regain hair crown!
Lauded and then ridiculed for his super-styled ‘man bangs’ hairdo – which was then copied by Chace Crawford and Hugh Jackman – Zac is now rocking a completely Edward Cullen-esque ‘do! And the HSM star is trying to make the look his own, spilling, “This is a hair scoop! Shower before you go to bed, and then sleep on your wet hair. In the morning, it’s all messed up naturally.” Adding, “That’s Zac’s hair tip.” Hmm, actually Zac, it’s Rob’s!
Be a bad boy
While Rob already has a reputation as a smoker and drinker, as well as recently telling an autograph-hunter to strip off in front of him, Zac’s image is squeaky clean. But the actor’s decided to try and add more of a rebel edge to his image, revealing of his recent flick, “I stole some of the stuff out of my trailer. I always steal some of my wardrobe. I never know what I’m going to need. You have to be quick.”
Slams his past
“I never watch my stuff, ever,” Rob recently said. “I just hate it. Nothing good can come out of watching yourself.” And Zac, super-keen to leave his Disney past behind, slyly slammed his HSM flicks, saying of his new movie Me And Orson Welles, “It’s the first time I’ve ever watched a movie [I’m in] and in the end I’m like ‘Okay, I didn’t check my watch once.”
