Rounding out the top twelve were Robert Pattinson’s Remember Me ($330K, +21%), America Ferrera’s Our Family Wedding ($270K, +12.2%), Roman Polanski’s The Ghost Writer ($227K, +21.6%) and Ethan Hawke’s Brooklyn’s Finest ($174K, +2.8%).
Remember Me and The Ghost Writer posted — by far — the two biggest increases; Diary of a Wimpy Kid had the worst drop-off rate. To date, the Robert Pattinson romantic drama has grossed $14.5 million; the total for the Polanski-directed thriller The Ghost Writer, starring Ewan McGregor and Pierce Brosnan (who also has a supporting role in Remember Me), currently stands at $7.16 million.
