Robert Pattinson, who is latest Hollywood heartthrob, was in the race for the coveted title. He was seen as a top contender given his popularity. So naturally many were hoping that Robert Pattinson would emerge as the winner. But surprisingly Ryan Reynolds was named Sexiest Man Alive 2010 by People's Magazine.
On winning the title, Ryan Reynolds said, "The most difficult part is going to be organically working this title into a conversation with random strangers."
