The King & Queen of Summer 2010: Your Votes Are In!

And then there were two.

In the beginning we presented you with 32 of the summer's hottest celebrities, 16 men and 16 women, and put the task of crowing a King and a Queen of the hot season in your hands. The votes have been counted and the results are in.

So who in Hollywood truly had the best summer?

Your King and Queen of Summer 2010: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

(Wow. Original, you guys. Really original.)

Bill Davila/startraksphoto.com; Dennis Van Tine/ZUMAPress.com Now, several factors helped propel each member of this duo into the top spots. Not only did they kinda come out as a couple this summer via a very grainy photo, they appeared in Eclipse, one of the year's biggest box-office hits. And they both were filming high profile "next step" movies, Water for Elephants and On the Road.

With those events supporting them, they each did away easily with their compettion to meet at the top.

In the final round, Robert Downey Jr.'s charms proved no match for Rob's. The veteran actor was sent packing after receiving only 31.3 percent of the vote to Pattinson's 68.7. Likewise, Kristen ended final challenger Katy Perry's Teenage Dream domination, grabbing 61.6 percent to Perry's 38.4.

Here's to the winners—and everybody else who gave it a shot.

Better luck in 2011, OK? Rob & Kristen don't have much going on next summer...

Twilight's Peter Facinelli: 'I'm Team Edward'

Peter Facinelli sure is loyal. The actor who plays Dr Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight Saga has revealed that he is definitely “Team Edward”.

According to People, the actor who plays Robert Pattinson's on screen pa said: “I'm Team Edward, because he's my son and I like to keep it in the family.”

However, Peter went on to say that even if he wasn't in the Twilight Saga, he'd still be Team Edward.

“If I had no association with the films, I'd still be Team Edward, there's something interesting about living forever, having that eternity.”

And if Peter was 10-years younger, then we wouldn't have been drooling over Robert Pattinson, instead it would be Peter who we would want to bite our necks.

“If I was maybe 10, 11 years younger – what is Rob like 24? – I'd like to play Edward, But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree so it's pretty cool playing Carlisle.”

We can't wait for Breaking Dawn, can you? Tell us on Twitter @areyouentwise and on our Facebook fan page.

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' Is All About The Vampires In This Week's BITN

LOVE IT

There's no denying vampires and werewolves have enraptured us of late. But society's interest in the supernatural is nothing new. Cinematic history is chock full of flicks focusing on otherworldly beings. With more than a year (!!) until our favorite vampire franchise returns with "Breaking Dawn," we're passing the time by revisiting movies featuring creatures that go Bump In The Night or BITN (get it, bitten?)

September Is BITN By Vampires!

This week we're taking a look at "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," the most recent, most popular and easily the most vampire-y of the "Twilight" films.

Directed by: David Slade
Starring: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner
Release date: June 30, 2010

Synopsis: Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings, and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob—knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life: to become a vampire or to remain human.

Representation of vampires: These are definitely not your traditional vampires. They don't have fangs, wooden stakes and holy water don't kill them, they don't sleep in coffins, and the only bad side effect of going out into the sunlight is that they sparkle. Still, David Slade's take on "Eclipse" was markedly darker than the two previous installments of "The Twilight Saga," and the side story of bad vamps Riley, Victoria and the newborns is much more traditional than most people give the film credit for. That opening sequence gives us chills every time!

Good or evil: This one's tough, because the vamps in "Eclipse" are both the good guys and the bad guys. In "The Twilight Saga," vampires have the choice to be good or bad. The vampire clan who our heroine Bella hangs out with, the Cullens, are definitely the good guys, but, in "Eclipse" especially, there are plenty of bad vampires coming after them.

Why we're BITN: The obvious reason is because "Eclipse" marks the highest level of tension in the Bella-Edward-Jacob love triangle, but the reason "Eclipse" is the "Twilight" film we chose for this week's BITN is because it definitely has our favorite of the films' representations of vampires. Riley's transformation and control of the newborns, and subsequently his manipulation by Victoria, makes us actually think for the first time in these films that vampires are something to be afraid of, as well as to swoon over. Plus, that final battle sequence is just too awesome for words.

Is "Eclipse" in your ranks of favorite vampire movies? (UMM YES!)

'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn' making big waves in Lousiana already

A LITTLE MORE OF HOW THE MOVIES BREAKING DAWN I & II WILL BE FILMED. SWEET!

The fact that production for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 is taking place partially in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is making big waves in the community.

A local news source did some poking around to find out details about production plans for the films, and they learned that the scenes being shot in Louisiana will indeed be indoors and that it is being considered very beneficial to the local economy.

"What you'll see is much like what 'Steel Magnolias' did for Natchitoches . . . People go to Natchitoches to this day to see the house in 'Steel Magnolias,'" reports WBRZ. Given the fact that Twilight fans are famed for traveling to Forks, La Push, Portland, Vancouver, and even to Italy to see the Twilight sights, this is probably at least a little true.

Specific details were, of course, unavailable, but the station's news clip shows a bit of what's being said around town about the production.
