Summit Entertainment confirmed today that THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN will be released as two separate films with the first of the two slated to be released in theatres on November 18, 2011. Academy Award® winner Bill Condon will direct both films starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner along with Billy Burke as Charlie Swan as well as returning members of the Cullen Family including Peter Facinelli as Carlisle, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme, Jackson Rathbone as Jasper, Nikki Reed as Rosalie, Ashley Greene as Alice and Kellan Lutz as Emmett.

The project, based on the fourth novel in author Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series, is currently being written by Melissa Rosenberg with Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt and Stephenie Meyer producing. The TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN will start production in the Fall.

With The Twilight Saga: Eclipse junket this weekend here in Los Angeles, Summit Entertainment has released seven clips from the movie and 33 high resolution images from the David Slade directed film. The other big news I’m happy to report is Summit is going to let reporters film the print portion of the junket, which means instead of having to read what Kristen Stewart or Robert Pattinson says about Eclipse, you’ll be able to watch the video. I’m doing interviews this Saturday, so you can expect tons of Twilight news later that day.

Since many of you might be curious how the junket is set up this weekend, here’s the way Summit is doing press conferences:

As you can tell, they’re pairing certain groups together and the last one is with the filmmakers. While some studios might pair everyone on one or two press conferences, props to Summit for separating most of the people.

We've teamed up with E1 Entertainment to offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a fan to jet over to L.A and ask the Twilight stars three questions each about their new film Eclipse, hitting cinemas on July 9th.
