Betty White `too busy` to get naked with Robert Pattinson

COME ON ITS ROB! HOW CAN U SAY THAT???

COPIED AND PASTE

Golden Girl Betty White says she is too busy to do a nude scene with Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson who is 65 years her junior.

But the 88-year-old actress says she should write to the 23-year-old Brit for reportedly calling her the sexiest woman in the US.

'I should write him a thank you note,' White tells the New York Post.

When asked if she would do a nude scene with the heart-throb though, White squashed the idea.

'No, sorry. I wouldn't,' she says. 'There really isn't much spare time these days.'

TV veteran White will guest host US TV show Saturday Night Live on May 8 after fans launched an internet campaign requesting that she appear.

'I don't understand it all,' White says. 'I'm the luckiest old broad on two feet.'

White, who co-starred alongside Sandra Bullock in The Proposal last year, is in hot demand of late, despite nearing 90.

The Saturday Night Live guest spot is just the latest in a string of recent projects that includes her new TV series Hot In Cleveland.

Speaking about her upcoming schedule she says: 'I do the show Saturday night. Sunday I fly back to California and Monday I start the new series I'm doing for TV Land.'

The demanding commitments won't slow her down though, White insists.

'I think energy builds on energy,' she says. 'I love the business I'm in and the more you do, the more it works.'

Robert Pattinson #6 On TIME'S Most Influential People List

YESTERDAY HE WAS 14 NOW HE IS 6 FUCK YEA U ROB ROB FANS!

It's that time again; time for Time Magazine to release their Time 100 list of the people they felt most influenced the world. The list is split up into four major categories: Leaders, Heroes, Artists and Thinkers. Of course, since we're pop culturally aware here at Hollywood Crush, Time's list of the 25 most influential artists caught our eye, and we think you might be a little bit surprised by some of the results.

What is unsurprising is that Lady Gaga took the top spot. The pop singer has had an extraordinary year; winning Grammy's, rocking the Billboard charts and revolutionizing the music industry. Cyndi Lauper said about Gaga in the article, "Most of the stuff on the radio is not very clever, but Gaga presents her ideas in a sophisticated manner. She has an incredible pop sensibility." We agree, and wouldn't be surprised if 10 years down the road Gaga is labeled one of the most influential people of the decade.

Those rounding out the top five also aren't very big surprises: Conan O'Brien (who probably wouldn't have made the list if he wasn't booted from "The Tonight Show" and hadn't rallied accordingly), Kathryn Bigalow (the first female director to win an Oscar), Oprah Winfrey (duh) and Valery Gergiev (an influential Russian conductor and opera director).

But then, plopped in squarely at #6, is our boy Robert Pattinson. "Influential" seems to be an understatement when used to describe the whirlwind hysteria "Twilight" has had on the world, with Rob unintentionally stuck in its center (unsurprisingly, People mag also acknowledged his prettiness this week as well).

"New Moon" director Chris Weitz spoke in Rob's honor to Time, saying, "So how to write about someone who seems to answer Freud's rhetorical question, What do women want? Perhaps it's just worth pointing out that it'd be fun to have a beer with him even if he weren't Edward Cullen. That we haven't seen a tenth of what he can do onscreen. And that important things, beyond the veil of Hollywood, occupy his time too music, conversation, ideas, a sense of the absurd. Which, maybe, explains why he never gets to my e-mails. I love you, Rob! Call me!"

Taylor Swift also got a nod at #9, thanks to winning some major Grammy's and also having her film debut (yes, in "Valentine's Day"). Stevie Nicks, who performed opposite her at the Oscars, compared her to Neil Diamond and Elton John, and said, "The female rock-'n'-roll-country-pop songwriter is back, and her name is Taylor Swift. And it's women like her who are going to save the music business."

Another surprise was Lea Michele being included in the list at number 13, though with the breakout success of "Glee" this past year — and Lea being front and center in its success — it shouldn't have been too much of a shock. Not only is she someone who is inspiring thousands across the States to follow their artistically-oriented dreams, but she also is someone we love to love, and see loved by other sites as well.

Rounding out the list is Sandra Bullock at number 22, and while we agree with the decision to include her, we're almost a little sad to see her this honor in light of everything that happened recently to help her deserve it.

She won her first Oscar, yes, had the most successful film of her career this summer and secretly adopted a baby, but also won a Razzie and ditched her husband — who turned out to be a real scumbag — in the process. While 2010 will always be known as the year Sandy had her comeback, we really feel bad that it had to go so poorly for her as well.

Here's a full list of Time's 25 artists who most influenced the world:

1. Lady Gaga

2. Conan O'Brien

3. Kathryn Bigelow

4. Oprah Winfrey

5. Valery Gergiev

6. Robert Pattinson

7. Ashton Kutcher

8. Suzanne Collins

9. Taylor Swift

10. Neil Patrick Harris

11. Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof

12. Prince

13. Lea Michele

14. Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik

15. Simon Cowll

16. Neill Blomkamp

17. Elton John

18. Marc Jacobs

19. David Chang

20. Banksy

21. Chetan Bhagat

22. Sandra Bullock

23. Ricky Gervais

24. Han Han

25. James Cameron

Eclipse movie star Robert Pattinson makes People's "Most Beautiful list 2010"!

WELL WE ALREADY KNEW THIS!

COPIED AND PASTE

It should come as no surprise that Robert Pattinson has made People magazine's "World's Most Beautiful List 2010". In this sneak peak revealed this morning, Robert Pattinson joined the ranks of celebrity men such as Channing Tatum (yum!), Justin Bieber (eh, maybe in 10 years), and Bradley Cooper (double yum and hilarious).

Though I personally don't find Robert Pattinson attractive, it would be a travesty if he wasn't included. The Twi-hard fans have spoken and it would be wrong to ignore them. Whether you like Edward Cullen or not, he's made a HUGE impact in pop-culture and continues to with the upcoming Eclipse movie. (If you look closely enough, you can see the indent of his fangs and it's not going away anytime soon.)

Who else will make People's World's Most Beautiful 2010 list? I'd love to see Glee's Mark Salling (Puck), Colin Farrell (he's making a comeback!) and Eclipse's Kellan Lutz. What other hot Hollywood men do you think are worthy of People's yearly list?

Robert Pattinson

I LOVE CHRIS HE IS SO FUNNY. YOU ALL NEED TO WATCH NEW MOON WITH THE COMMENTARY HE CRACKED ME UP SO MUCH!

COPIED AND PASTE

I have to be careful about what I write here because it will be tweeted the moment TIME hits the stands. And if I say something bad about Rob Pattinson, I'm dead meat. That's the devotion the Twilight films inspire. It's certainly not how he planned it. And though I am continually impressed by the aplomb with which he handles the hysteria, I occasionally think he would take it all back if given the chance. Because essentially, Rob, 23, is a reserved, bookish sort of specimen, a guy who'd rather spend the night at the corner table in the pub with friends — a bit of a weirdo, frankly, in the best sense.

So how to write about someone who seems to answer Freud's rhetorical question, What do women want? Perhaps it's just worth pointing out that it'd be fun to have a beer with him even if he weren't Edward Cullen. That we haven't seen a tenth of what he can do onscreen. And that important things, beyond the veil of Hollywood, occupy his time too — music, conversation, ideas, a sense of the absurd. Which, maybe, explains why he never gets to my e-mails. I love you, Rob! Call me!

Daniel Cudmore talks about Rob and the Felix and Edward Fight

COPIED AND PASTE

Daniel Cudmore, who plays evil Volturi vampire Felix, and Booboo Stewart, who plays young werewolf Seth Clearwater, are among the stars of the Twilight Saga movies in Sydney and Melbourne for the Australian Twilight Convention.

At 6-feet-7 (1.83 metres), muscle-bound Canadian actor Cudmore isn't hard to miss.

But out enjoying his first trip to Australia he's yet to be spotted by Twihards.

"I've just walked around the whole city," Cudmore told AAP in Sydney.

"For some reason people don't associate me with some of the roles I've played.

"I think a lot of people in the city looked at me wondering what sport I play."

Cudmore did start out as a football player in Canada, before getting into stunt work and acting.

The fantasy films have plenty of fans, but Cudmore says it's nothing compared to the reaction to the Twilight series.

"It's more intense, there's so much more passion," he said.

"I think maybe because it's a newer phenomenon, whereas X-Men has been around for such a long time through the comic books and the movies."

Cudmore's character Felix is a Volturi thug whose day-to-day job is "tearing apart other vampires".

He says Felix is a nasty piece of work, but a joy to play.

"He's an angry vampire, he doesn't really get much respect, and he's been around for thousands of years ... and he's just really, really good at what he does," Cudmore said.

"It's a fun character - it's fun to play someone dark, who goes on the animal side and enjoys it."

The physical role included a fight scene with Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward.

Pattinson is a heartthrob to Twilight fans the world over, but Cudmore said the handsome actor was keen to do as much of his own stunt work as possible.

"Rob's a great guy, he's really game for anything," Cudmore said.

"He was nervous at first, because he was like, `you know I'm not the most athletic guy out there, I don't think I'm going to be able to do this'.

"After rehearsing for a few hours he was really, really having a good time with it. He had a blast."

3. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Pros: Arguably the most passionate franchise fanbase of this era and the most action packed of all the films which means guys might not have to be dragged by their significant others after being bored through “New Moon.” “Eclipse” is also the first installment in IMAX (higher ticket prices factor in) and to be released in the teen-friendly summer season.
Cons: The “backlash” is over, but are the fans still as excited as they were for the first two films?

Projected Box Office: $330 million
Lowdown: $300 million is guaranteed, but it “should” do much more than that

The “Twilight” cast gives back

JUST WHEN U THINK ROB COULDNT BE MORE PERFECT HE GETS INVOLVED WITH THIS!

HollywoodNews.com: The “Twilight” cast is a well-known (and large!) group of actors. But in their “off” time, many of them use their celebrity to support charitable causes and help the greater good. Below are some of the actors and the charitable causes they support. If you know of any other charities these actors support, please leave a note in the comments and I will add it to the already large list!

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Anna Kendrick, Taylor Lautner Hope for Haiti

As you may have seen, Robert Pattison took time out from filming in London to speak to a world-wide audience during George Clooney’s “Hope for Haiti” telethon on January 22nd.

Kristen Stewart, unable to participate in the telethon due to her participation in Sundance, later scheduled a dinner at La Vida with proceeds going to the same organization.

Anna Kendrick and Taylor Lautner appeared on the “Hope for Haiti” telethon, answering phone calls to take donations for the event.

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner: Attended a “New Moon” benefit screening in Knoxville, TN, where the nearly $400,000 raised went to charities such as East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, Second Harvest, Boy Scouts of the Smokies, Imagination Library, and the American Heart Association.

Robert Pattinson: Aside from Hope for Haiti, Robert Pattinson has also raised money for amfAR cinema against AIDS by auctioning off his kisses! He also signed a guitar which went up for auction and all proceeds went to The Midnight Mission. Finally, Rob has donated some of his film costumes to be auctioned off, with all proceeds benefiting Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF)

Most recently, Rob and “Water for Elephants” announced that based on Rob’s March 2010 statement that his charity of choice is the World Wildlife Federation (WWF), WaterForElephantsFilm.com will be supporting Robert Pattinson’s philanthropy by spreading the word via their website and encouraging readers to donate to WWF.

Kristen Stewart: In addition to Hope for Haiti, Kristen Stewart participated in a Diabetes Walk event in late 2009. She also participated in Sam Bradley’s “Gewa” charity concert which raised money for people in Tibet. Kristen recently signed speakers, with proceeds benefiting Clothes off Our Backs. There’s still 14 days left on this auction, so place your bids now!

Peter Facinelli: PFach, as his fans call him, is one of the most active “Twilight” actors in the charity community. He is an avid supporter of Alex’s Lemonade Stand, benefiting childhood cancer research. Peter also supports the Christopher Reeve Foundation, which benefits research on spinal cord injury and paralysis. Finally, Peter Facinelli plays Vampire Baseball, which served the American Red Cross and Hope for Haiti in 2010. For more information on Vampire Baseball, see below.

Ashley Greene: Donate My Dress

This organization aims to “encourage girls to donate their prom and special occasion dresses to others who need them.”

Jeans for Teens: Ashley participated in this organization which helped obtain jeans for teens who can’t afford them.

Christian Serratos: PETA

The title of this organization is pretty self explanatory – People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Christian recently posed for PETA posters (nudity warning) where she bared nearly all in opposition to wearing fur and also helped the campaign against seal slaughter.

Kellan Lutz: Kellan also participates with PETA and the One Campaign which attempts to organize Americans to fight AIDS and global poverty. Kellan also worked with Ashley Greene on the Jeans for Teens campaign.

Jackson Rathbone: The Spencer Bell Legacy Project

This organization features a video directed by Jackson (his debut) and attempts to raise money for adrenal cancer.

Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone: Bono’s “One” campaign. The “One” campaign fights against extreme poverty and global disease.

Peter Facinelli, Chaske Spencer, Tyson Houseman, Alex Meraz: Vampire Baseball

Proceeds from this year’s Vampire Baseball went to the American Red Cross and Hope for Haiti Now, as well as to local organizations such as the 9th Ward Field of Dreams and the Blood Center.

Anna Kendrick: Feeding America

Anna Kendrick decorated a cute Easter egg this past April, with proceed benefiting Feeding America.

Rachelle Lefevre: For every 10,000 Twitter followers she gets (@rachellelefevre), Rachelle donates $100 to breast cancer research. Additionally, Rachelle sometimes posts items to her charity auction on Ebay.

Billy Burke: While Billy attended the Artists for Haiti benefit, he is also known for keeping a poker face while he plays at the tables for charity events.

Booboo Stewart: The Los Angeles Mission

Booboo has been spotted generously feeding the homeless for the Los Angeles Mission during his downtime and has stated how much he loves helping the organization.

Robert Pattinson knows what hard work is like. That's why he is one of the richest people under 30 in the UK. Reports out today put his worth at 25 million bucks!

But you don't get that rich by not playing ball when it counts: the interminable waiting between scenes of a movie.

Setting up movie shots is serious business. As the pictures in this photo shoot found on TheTwilightBlog indicate, there are a million details to take care of to get it right. So it's nice to see Rob smiling and joshing with bud Taylor Lautner on the set of Twilight: New Moon.

It's fascinating to see how shots are set up and the off camera equipment that lends the final product to the high quality we've come to expect in films.

Lighting especially seems to be the key in this series, and it's the handicraft of the army of technicians who really strive to lend atmosphere and other worldly eeriness to Edward Cullen's sallow, but eternally youthful pallor.

Robert Pattinson’s REMEMBER ME Crosses $50 Million Mark Worldwide

TAKE THAT HATERS!

COPIED AND PASTE

Robert Pattinson’s Remember Me, the $16 million production referred to by some (those who have trouble with the Pattinson/Twilight phenomenon) as a "box office flop," has grossed about $50 million worldwide.

According to figures provided by Box Office Mojo, Remember Me has taken in $18.852 million (as of Apr. 22) in the United States/Canada and more than $30.09 million overseas.

I say "more than" because Box Office Mojo’s chart for Remember Me hasn’t been updated for several markets, including key ones such as Australia (Mar. 28), Italy (Apr 4), The Netherlands (Apr 11), and Russia (Apr 4). Also, the most recent data available overall is from April 18, or a week ago. (Box Office Mojo hasn’t updated their international total — shown on top — for the movie since April 11.)

By now, Pattinson’s Remember Me has undoubtedly already crossed the $50 million mark worldwide. And it still hasn’t opened in foreign territories such as Japan, China, and South Korea.

Outside the US/Canada, Remember Me’s top markets are: the UK ($5.168m), Russia/CSI ($3.396m), Germany ($3.019m), France ($2.848m), Italy ($2.358m), Spain ($2.319m), Brazil ($1.893m), and Australia ($1.216m).

By now, Pattinson’s first tryout as an "actor-executive producer" has probably crossed the $1 million mark in Belgium/Luxemburg ($988K, Apr 18), and perhaps in Mexico ($916K, Apr. 18) as well.

Directed by Allen Coulter, Remember Me stars Pattinson as Tyler Hawkins, a rebellious young man at odds with his wealthy father (Pierce Brosnan). Also in the cast: Emilie de Ravin, Chris Cooper, Lena Olin, and Ruby Jerins. Will Fetters wrote the screenplay.
