COPIED AND PASTE
Tonight is the big night as the MTV Movie Awards are about to take place at 9 pm ET at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City (in San Fernando Valley), with red carpet coverage starting at 8 pm ET (that’s 1 am GMT).
As you all know Robert Pattinson has been nominated in the following categories:
Best Male Performance
Global Superstar
Best Kiss with Kristen Stewart
New Moon has also been nominated for the Best Movie Award
We expect tonight’s show to be once again dominated by the Twilight stars as thanks to your support Rob, Taylor and Kristen will hopefully win plenty of awards.
This year’s show is hosted by Aziz Ansari and presenters include Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stwart and Taylor Lautner who are going to introduce a brand new clip from Eclipse. We will also post the clip on our site so make sure you check back.
MTV has also revealed the sitting arrangements for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart and you can check them out below.
Live streaming: You can watch the red carpet pre-show streamed live HERE directly by MTV from 8 pm ET until 9 pm. However, the stream only works for those of you in the US.
We have also been able to obtain two potential live streaming links for the MTV Movie Awards thanks to Thinking of Rob though no one knows yet if they will actually work.
Link 1 – Click HERE
Link 2 – Click HERE
Hope you’re all looking forward to tonight’s show and make sure you check back in the morning as we will be bringing you all of the pictures and videos of Robert Pattinson from the awards.

'Twilight's' Robert Pattinson's guide to the 'MTV Movie Awards'
COPIED AND PASTE
When Zap2it was invited to preview the "MTV Movie Awards," we knew what we really had to do. We had to make sure we scoped the place out for one of our favorite stars, "The Twilight Saga's" Robert Pattinson, who is nominated for best male performance and best global superstar.
After all, everything R-Patz comes across during the event has to be up to not only his very high standards, but his fans standards, as well. We take that responsibility very seriously.
Our behind the scenes trip started with host Aziz Ansari, who is a major R-Patz fan. He gave us some insight as to what the star's security detail would be like and the Robert Pattinson souvenir he would like to take home from the awards. (Hint: It's a signature item and rhymes with fair.)
We were then given a preview of the celebrity gift bags and we made sure that there were some items that R-Patz would enjoy. We wanted to deliver some items to him personally, but MTV wouldn't let us walk away with any of them. Sorry, Robert!
And of course, we also had to make sure that Robert would like the food served. We can't have Robert go hungry! So we wandered into the MTV Awards kitchen and spoke to the event's celebrity chef, John DeLucie, who planned all the meals for the after party. The man behind the New York eateries, The Lion and The Waverly Inn, gave us a taste of the macaroni and cheese with black truffle dish, so that we can make sure it was "Twilight" star worthy.
And finally, we scoped out Robert's seat for the awards. We wanted to make sure he would like who he was sitting next to, didn't have too bad of a walk when he accepted his awards and that his view of the stage was perfect (although MTV asked us not to shoot it).
So there you have it, Robert Pattinson, we scouted the "MTV Movie Awards" just for you and Zap2it thinks it's R-Patz approved. Now, you just bring the razzle-dazzle.

MTV Movie Awards Host Aziz Ansari Says Yes to Twlight, No to Harry Potter
EVERYONE IS A TWILIGHT FAN!
COPIED AND PASTE
MTV Movie Awards host Aziz Ansari hearts Twilight. However, he admits he hasn't been a fan for that long…
"You know, I had never seen the movies, but I watched them as soon as they asked me to host," says Ansari, who plays Tom Haverford on NBC's Parks and Recreation. "They are fun movies. Yeah, I'm into it."
He's also into meeting Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner at the awards on Sunday. "Oh, my god! I'm so excited," Ansari said. "But I heard each of them has like 50 bodyguards so I won't even be able to see them."
And diehard Twilight fans will be pleased to hear that Ansari hasn't bothered taking a look at the Harry Potter movies. "I was going to try watching them because I've never seen them before but there's like seven movies," he said in mock horror. "I don't want to watch seven movies. That's too many."
Ansari is also looking forward to saying hello to Tom Cruise. "I haven't worked with him since Cocktail," he cracked. "I was a little brown baby that was in the background of one of the scenes. Me and Tom haven't seen each other since then. I was an infant then. It would be cool to catch up."
Meanwhile, Chef John DeLucie of New York's Waverly Inn and The Lion restaurants gave a taste of what guests will be feasting on at the show's V.I.P. afterparty, including sliders, mac 'n' cheese and shortribs. But what am I looking forward to the most? Desserts like chocolate bacon cupcakes, cheesecake in a jar and mouse shooters!

David Slade’s Note to Fans: “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is a love letter to you”
DAVID SLADE SENT A LETTER TO TWI FANS FROM FACEBOOK!
COPIED AND PASTE
Dear fans of The Twilight Saga,
I want to congratulate you for reaching over 6 million fans on The Twilight Saga Facebook page.
It’s hard to fathom that it was just over one year ago that I started constructing this third and epic adventure which takes place in the town of Forks.
I want to share a story about one of our days of shooting with you.
It was a Friday night and the rain was relentless. We were at La Push to shoot the tribe’s histories, a great speech by Billy Black. We had Taylor and Kristen and the whole wolf pack around a campfire as the heavens let loose on us.
Gil Birmingham was in fine form as the rain hammered down on us all, we adjusted our lights so that the rain vanished into the black of night.
We constructed a tent over the scene to keep everyone dry as we worked, every 15 minutes or so we would have to tip it to stop the collecting rain from splitting the fabric.
For some reason still unknown, around 3am, the wolf pack stood exactly in the way of several gallons of rainwater as it was being cleared. Being the wolf pack, they just laughed it off as they stood there soaked to the bone.
We worked through the mud and the rain all night, until we had the scene perfected.
As we left, dawn was now cracking and in the dim light I passed a small army of fans who had braved the weather for the entire night, still standing there, holding drenched flowers and waiting to get a glimpse of our actors.
So, to those of you who stood behind our security, who waited in line at theatres overnight, to those of you who just love these stories, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is a love letter to you.
Each day I felt the weight of your favourite scenes, your favourite lines, your dreams and your imagination.
It has been an unforgettable journey, and now as I finalise the last prints to ready the film for your local theaters, I cannot wait for you to see it.
Sincerest Regards,
DAVID SLADE
