Robert Pattinson goes on a bike ride?

Apparently Rob decided, since it was a new city, it would be nice to take the scenic route and bike through the streets. Its not like we haven't seen him ride a bike before (Remember Me) but wouldn't it be interesting to know Robert Pattinson just rode past you on a bike? Hmm.

"Workers at a capital cyclery in Essen Lane confirm that Robert Pattinson, who plays the vampire Edward in the films, visited the store over the weekend and bought a new bike. An employee said Pattinson "wasn't there to be a big celebrity" and that they had received other calls about the visit. "It's getting a bit out of hand", the employee said." - http://http//www.wbrz.com/news/robert-pattinson-buys-bicycle-in-baton-rouge/

He stopped in this past weekend, showing once again he isn't about the hype.

Glamour Magazine UK - Top 31 Sexiest Vampires

According to Glamour UK Magazine, Robert Pattinson is the winner of their 31 Sexiest Vampires poll. And we totally agree!

1. Twilight’s Edward Cullen
Played by: Robert Pattinson
Twilight’s resident Sex God, Robert Pattinson has brought new meaning to the term ‘pale and interesting’. Like all vampires, Edward has a taste for blood, but that’s all too easy to forget when you look at his ripped torso and intense eyes. A thing of beauty…

Robert Pattinson in CUT Magazine Japan

Interviewer: Do you believe in the existence of a person like Edward?

Rob: Yes. I don’t remember who’s remark it was but it goes like, there must be a heaven and soul exists because otherwise there are too many good souls that haven’t been treated well enough on the earth. I like the phrase; it may sound odd.

Interviewer: Do you have a fear that you will always be compared with Edward Cullen?

Rob:Well, I don’t know. But in my theory, if there is a sudden popularity, it will fade soon. I am hoping that will not happen in this franchise, but I don’t know; it might be true.

Interviewer: How do you guys prepare for the scenes of you and Kristin? Do you rehearse together or you go ahead and do your own acts?

Rob: I am the one who want to analyze into depth even though I don’t give in at all. In the other hand, Kristin has a sense, she can feel it naturally. I can’t be confident when I don’t understand why he does it his way; it doesn’t go like that when I act different role. It has been just like that from the first Twilight movie, for Edward I think I want to learn him more.

Robert Pattinson: Moviephone's 25 under 25

What He's Done: Nothing really, unless you ask his rabid, undying worldwide audience of fans who would walk across hot coals to see him play vampire Edward Cullen in the 'Twilight' saga. Before that, he was known as Cedric Diggory from the 'Harry Potter' franchise. He has also tried his hand at more artsy endeavors, playing Salvador Dali in 2008's 'Little Ashes' and a melancholic lover in 2010's 'Remember Me.'

What's Next: Of course, the final 'Twilight' movies ('Breaking Dawn,' which has been divided into two films) are slated for release in 2011 and 2012. In 2011, he's also set to play a womanizing Parisian in 'Bel Ami,' and a veterinary student who runs away with the circus in 'Water for Elephants.'

Did You Know? Pattinson fans know everything about him, so this isn't revelatory, but Pattinson is a distant relative of Vlad the Impaler, upon whom Bram Stoker's Dracula character was based.

Robert Pattinson on list of ‘Minimalist celebs’

“Twilight” star Robert Pattinson probably gets lots of presents from fans and brands that want to be associated with his pretty mug, but apparently, he’s not into material things. “I’m not one for comforts and stuff. I think I can kind of do without most things. I bought a really nice guitar recently, which is the only thing I’ve ever really spent a lot of money on,” he said. “But that’s the only thing. I had my apartment in London before when I was unemployed—this tiny little place and I liked it more. You had to walk through a restaurant kitchen and up this staircase filled with trash and there’s no heating. I like that. But now it’s quite difficult. I can’t live in places like that anymore.” Which is a shame because living on the other side of a restaurant kitchen sounds perfect for midnight snacking shenanigans. [Celebrity Gossip]

'Supernatural' spoofs Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, 'Twilight' in general

On Friday night, "Supernatural" may be going for one of the most ruthless (and also funny) parodies we've seen in quite some time.

Here's just a few notes from the preview you can see below courtesy of E! News:

  • Someone finally comments on how creepy most vampire romance novels look from the cover alone.
  • Yes, the writing in them can sometimes be dramatic -- very dramatic.
  • When all else fails when trying to break into a vampire fan's computer, just enter the words "Robert Pattinson" or "Taylor Lautner" and hope for the best.

Robert Pattinson tipped for an OSCAR

In Water for Elephanst, Robert stars as Jacob Jankowski, a veterinary student who drops out of college to work as a vet for a travelling circus.

In the film he falls for a circus performer played by Reese Witherspoon, and tries to defend her from her abusive, animal trainer husband.

His co-star Christoph Waltz – who picked up a Best Supporting Role Oscar for his part Inglourious Basterds earlier this year – has praised the star, tipping him to receive the prestigious Oscar prize next year.

‘It's in my house,’ Christoph said when questioned on his gong, ‘but the way things are looking, I might have to hand it off to Rob next year!”

Sarah Gruen also spoke recently to The Dallas Morning News about Robert's performance:

'I think Robert Pattinson is really going to shine in that role. He’s so dedicated,' she said in an interview with The Dallas Morning News.

‘This was a rough-and-tumble shoot, and when I was there on the set, he’d be lying in the dirt for 18 straight takes in a row, and he would nail every single one.

He's a nice guy, and he reads. He always has a book in his hand. My family got cameos. I'm in a scene where Rosie [the elephant] is raiding a produce stand.

Christina Ricci Says Robert Pattinson “is a Sweetheart”

In a recent interview with Broadway.com Robert Pattinson’s Bel Ami co-star Christina Ricci mentions Rob briefly and you can read an extract from the interview below.

In addition to the play, you have several movies coming up, including one with Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson.

It’s a film adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s Bel Ami, set in Victorian Paris, so we had gorgeous costumes and makeup and hair. It was such a luxurious movie to work on, and Rob is a sweetheart. We had such a good time together. I also have an Adam Sandler comedy, Born to Be a Star, coming out, which was a totally different world, with everyone trying to crack each other up and be silly.

‘Water for Elephants’ Extra Mentions RobPosted by Katie On October - 4 - 2010
Another Water for Elephants’ extra Tommy Lukasewicz has praised Robert Pattinson’s work. Read on for a short clip of the interview where he mentions Rob and other cast members, and head over to Water For Elephants Film for the full story.

The cast on this film was A+. The young man we all know from the Twilight series, Robert Pattinson was spot on during every single emotion that was captured on camera. He is a truly talented individual and an all around nice guy. The man we all know from his inspiring role in Inglourious Basterds, Christoph Waltz was nothing shy of inhuman when he was acting, man this guy is incredible. I found myself gazing at the beautiful, Reese Witherspoon from time to time, whose work was something of perfection in every glance. The role of Kinko, played by Mark Povinelli couldn’t have been played by a kinder, more good-hearted person. The sleeper in this film is a most interesting man named Jim Norton, who played the role of Camel. I have a feeling when the film comes out people are going to really enjoy his performance. I’d have to say that with a package of actors like this how can this film not break boundaries.

Leonardo di Caprio Gives Robert Pattinson Career Advice

Thanks to Pattinson Online for sharing an extract of Leonardo di Caprio’s recent interview with Ciak Magazine (Italy) where he is asked if he has any advice for Robert Pattinson. Rob has stated in several interviews that he would like his career to follow the path that Leo’s career has taken so make sure you check out his advice to Rob below.

You have struggled for years to get rid of the reputation of teen idol. Do you have any suggestion for Robert Pattinson? The Twilightmania seems similar to the Titanic one…

RPattz (he pronounces it just like this, like his fans do) just has to keep on working hard. An actor must always be thankful when proposals come, it’s like winning the lottery every time. You must maintain the result, of course, but you must also seize opportunities to grow. But Robert already knows these things.

Robert Pattinson is One of the 20 Most Beautiful Celebs Inside & Out

Portrait Magazine asked their readers to nominate the celebrities that they feel are the most beautiful, inside and out, based on appearance, career choices, role model status, charity involvement etc. Rob made it to no. 6 on the list and you can find out why below. Don’t forget to head over to the source to check out who else made the final list.

#6 Robert Pattinson
“I don’t want to look trendy, so I try to find clothes where somebody wouldn’t be able to say, ‘Oh, you’re a cool guy.’”

Robert Pattinson, known for his role as Edward Cullen; is more than just an attractive vampire, yes I admit I was one of those girls who fell for Robert’s grungy chic style and was totally on the Edward Cullen band wagon for awhile myself. He has been labelled as a heart-throb for young teen girls with sex appeal for the older women since filming the Twilight series; status symbols he doesn’t quite get. Robert Pattinson’s messy hairstyle paired with his grunge fashion makes him that much more attractive to the ladies then just his scruffy facial hair alone. Besides his hair and masculine jaw line a couple of things that also caught a lot of fans eyes were his beautiful bluish-grey eyes and his height; us girls tend to like the taller boys after all.
