Robert Pattinson Remember Me and Unbound Captives

From PopStar

Robert Pattinson is starring in the number one movie right now, but sadly The Twilight Saga: New Moon will leave the theater and what will we have to look forward to? Luckily, there are two movies being released to a theater near you in 2010 and Rob is set to star in two others. First, in March of 2010 we will see Rob in Remember Me. Then, in June of 2010, we will see Rob with his Cullen family when they return in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. In a recent interview with MTV, Rob spoke about two movies that are in the works to be filmed hopefully in the winter/spring of 2010.

In Remember Me, Rob stars as Tyler who is dealing with a tragedy that has split his family and left his relationship with his father, played by Pierce Brosnan, strained. Tyler feels like no one understands him and what he is going through and then he meets Ally (Emilie De Ravin), in an unusual twist of fate. Tyler and Ally start to fall in love, her spirit unexpectedly healing and inspiring him. Tyler begins to find his happiness and meaning to life until a secret threatens their love. Remember Me also stars Chris Cooper and Lena Olin.

In Eclipse, Rob returns as Edward Cullen. Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward have come together knowing they cannot be apart. Bella wants to become immortal so that they can be together forever. He agrees to change her as long as she marries him. However, Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard) is still lusting after revenge and plotting her attack. Bella, Edward, the Cullens, Jacob (Taylor Lautner), and the rest of the wolf pack will have to come together to take a stand against the evil vampire.

Rob spoke with MTV about his upcoming projects. "Depending on how things go, I’m doing a movie called ‘Bel Ami’ in February, an adaption to a Guy de Maupassant novel. And I’m doing -- I hope -- a Western with Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman called ‘Unbound Captives’ sometime around there as well. They’ve got to try and juggle things around until everybody’s schedules work."

Unbound Captives is a western co-starring Rachel Weisz as Rob’s mother and Hugh Jackman. Weisz’s character is rescued by a frontiersman, Jackman, and they search for her two kidnapped children. The children are found having been brought up by the Comanche Native Americans. Unbound Captives was written and will be directed by Madeline Stowe and is set to start filming hopefully in early 2010.

"It’s like, you can’t really be more different from Edward," Pattinson said. "I actually signed on to that after I’d done ‘Twilight,’ in the summer after I’d finished [shooting]. It was really before anything had happened [to make me famous]. I wasn’t even really thinking about it."

"It’s just a cool script," Pattinson said of the film, drawing comparisons to the classic final movie featuring the star he is most often compared to: James Dean. "It reminds me in a lot of ways of ‘Giant,’ which is one of my favorite movies. So I think that’s why I responded to it."

Bel Ami is the story of Georges Duroy and his corrupt rise to power, becoming one of the most successful men in Paris. Duroy achieved his success by manipulating many powerful, intelligent mistresses. Rob said filming is in February for this adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s novel.

Rob has certainly lined up a very busy year. He reported in 2009 he only had three days off -- looks like 2010 will be another year of the same. So, now that you know what Rob is up to, what are you most looking forward to seeing
