Robert Pattinson says he's 'incredibly appreciative' of his 'ridiculous life'

YAY FOR ROB!

COPIED AND PASTE

Robert Pattinson is 'incredibly appreciative' for his 'ridiculous life' - Speaking to MTV after winning his three MTV Movie Awards Sunday evening, British actor Robert Pattinson said that he is "incredibly appreciative" for his "ridiculous life." The awards took place at Universal City on June 6, 2010.

Mr. Pattinson won Best Male Performance, Best Kiss (with Kristen Stewart), and the Global Superstar Award.

MTV asked him to reflect on the two years since he first attended the MTV Movie Awards. The actor responded:

"It's crazy; it accelerated so quickly. I should have done a more coherent speech for the Global thing. It's just so ridiculous. I still don't have any idea what's going on. I just kind of keep working to sort of not explode. I'm incredibly appreciative of every little piece that's come together so I can be living this kind of ridiculous life."

The actor has good reason to call his life "ridiculous." Over the last 2 years, he has been followed by paparazzi and fans; has had his picture on the cover of dozens of magazines; presented at the 2009 Academy Awards; made an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival; and was recently named by Time Magazine as one of the "100 Most Influential People" in the world. The actor just turned 24 last month and has starred in, so far, only a handful of films.

Robert Pattinson's next film to be released is The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, based on the bestselling novel by Stephenie Meyer. The movie opens in theaters on June 30, 2010. He is currently filming the adaptation of the novel, Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen in California. Mr. Pattinson's co-stars in that movie are Academy Award winners, Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz.
