'Twilight' nominated for eight People's Choice Awards

The latest installment of the world's favorite vampire saga “Eclipse” has dominated the People's Choice Awards movie categories with eight nominations including, Favourite Movie, Favourite Movie Actor for stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner and Favourite Movie Actress for Kristen Stewart.

The popular awards ceremony also honors music and television stars. Eminem and Usher have been included in the Favorite Male Artist Category, while Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift are competing for the Favorite Female Artist.

Conan O'Brien has also been nominated in the Favorite Talk Show Host category alongside Chelsea Handler, Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey

Musical TV show “Glee” is nominated for Favorite TV Comedy along with “How I Met Your Mother”, “Modern Family” and “Two and a Half Men”.

Winners of the People's Choice Awards 2011 will be announced during a live broadcast from the Nokia Theater in LA on January 5th 2010
