Remember Preimere Date
COPIED AND PASTE
Robert Pattinson will hit the "Remember Me" red carpet in New York on March 1, Gossip Cop confirms.
The film's nationwide release date isn't until March 12, but Pattinson's work with Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci in "Bel Ami," which starts filming next month in Paris, has put a crimp in his ability to jump from continent to continent.
Despite rumors last year that "Remember Me," costarring Emilie de Ravin, would open in France before its U.S. release, the film's French distributor says it'll be in theaters there April 7.
Pattinson recently discussed his attraction to the "Remember Me" script, and what Pierce Brosnan brought to the table, in videos posted on the film's Facebook page.
Incidentally, you can catch "Twilight" tonight at 8 on Showtime.
Just sayin' ...

Robert Pattinson Comic Book
COPIED AND PASTE
Hmmm. Bluewater Productions, the folks who brought you comic biographies of Al Gore, Sarah Palin, Michelle Obama, and Stephenie Meyer, are set to ship FAME: Robert Pattinson in May. It’s a 32-page comic that will trace the Twilight star’s career and, as the press release says, “introduce fans to the many sides of Pattinson.” Maybe this is just the 34-year-old me talking, but I don’t think this is necessary. For starters, I seriously doubt that diehard fans who scour the Internet 100 times a day will learn anything new in this comic, and who wants to look at a cartoon Pattinson (even if he is kinda hot) when you’re one mouse click away from the real thing?
Am I wrong? In Bluewater’s defense, their Stephenie Meyer comic, published in November 2009, has sold out of several printings. But isn’t she more of a mystery at this point than Pattinson? I suppose there will be fanatics who must have everything Rob, and $3.99 isn’t going to break the bank to complete the collection. It could, conceivably, be fun to flip through it and see how accurately they capture his wardrobe and mannerisms. I know it sounds like I’m caving, but I’m not so no one get this for me as a gift, unless you really want to, in which case I’ll accept it, and read it in my office with as much shame as I do the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
What do you think? Unnecessary, but sure to sell out? At least it might introduce new people to the medium, and that’s not a bad thing…

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart voted one of decade's best kisses
COPIED AND PASTE
The passionate kiss shared between Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward Cullen and Kristen Steward, who plays Bella Swan, in Twilight, has been voted one of the best of the last decade.
The smooch, which happened towards the end of the first movie, Twilight (the second movie, New Moon, was released late last year) came fourth in a survey, conducted by department store Selfridges in England, for best on screen kisses of the past decade.
Fans of Robert and Kristen's on screen smooch described it as "a true passionate moment in movie history."
Topping the vampire's kiss was Britney Spears and Madonna's lesbian kiss at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2003.
"Madonna performing with both Britney and Christina was a big enough event in itself, but nobody - even the MTV people - expected what happened,” said fans.
Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst were second for their romantic embrace in Spider-Man, while Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal's kiss in Brokeback Mountain came fourth.
The top-five was completed by Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz for their kiss in Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

Jude Law Thanks Robert Patitnson
Jude Law has said he is thankful that up and coming actors like Robert Pattinson are “entering the limelight”.
Jude, 37, told German newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung that he always found it uncomfortable being the focus of media attention.
“If I have a look around at the moment I feel great relief because finally others are entering the limelight,” he is quoted as saying.
"Men like Robert Pattinson must now play the Adonis. For me it was always a restraint, a restriction."
The actor, who recently appeared as Hamlet on Broadway, said being regarded as "the Adonis" took the emphasis of his acting.
"My goal was always to be recognised as a good actor but no-one was interested in that, simply because society just wants to warm towards your appearance,” he said.
“This is the great blemish of society."
Robert Pattinson has grown into one of Hollywood's biggest names as a result of his role as Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga.

BLACK MOON
I WAS SENT THE LINK AND IM AM SOOOO INLOVE WITH IT. TAKE THE TIME AND READ THIS SMALL BUT EXCITING PART OF THE STORY. I KNOW YOU WILL LOVE IT!
WRITEEN BY @KivaJohnsAdkins FROM TWITTER SHE IS A GREAT WRITER!!!
I took several deep breaths in an effort to calm myself. I patted her hand and looked directly into her eyes. “This is a party,” I reminded her, “Try to be a good sport.”
“Sure,” she muttered. I knew she would do it for everyone else, if not for me.
I got out of the truck and moved to her side, opened her door and offered her my hand.
“I have a question.”
I waited silently and with trepidation for her query.
“If I develop this film,” she asked as she moved the camera from hand to hand, “will you show up in the picture?”
So many myths. So little time to debunk them all. I just laughed as I helped her out of the truck and pulled her up the steps towards the front door.
The moment I opened the door for her and she stepped across the threshold into the huge, white living room the entire family greeted with a chorus of “Happy Birthday, Bella!”
Bella blushed and looked down but didn’t complain. Alice had done a beautiful job making the room seem celebratory and beautiful. There were pink candles and dozens of crystal bowls filled with pink roses that filled the room. The scent of the roses was calming in itself. Next to my piano, Alice had covered a table with a white linen table cloth and set up a pink birthday cake, more roses, a stack of glass plates and a small pile of silver-wrapped boxes. Just because I promised not to spend money on her birthday didn’t mean the rest of the family had followed that request.
I knew this was exactly what Bella didn’t want, but she was doing as I asked and being a good sport about it. I wrapped my arm around her waist and kissed the top of her head.
Carlisle and Esme were closest to us and were the first to welcome Bella. Esme walked over to Bella and gave her a gentle hug before kissing her forehead. Bella’s mother wasn’t able to make it to Forks from Florida for her birthday since she had just been up after her accident. In so many ways Esme was a mother figure to Bella, as she was to us all.
Carlisle then put his arm around her shoulders and gave her a careful squeeze, whispering loudly, so we all could hear it, “Sorry about this, Bella. We couldn’t rein Alice in.” The truth was no one wanted to. They were all just as excited about this party as my sister was.
Rosalie and Emmett stood behind my parents. Emmett had a huge grin on his face. He questioned my obsession with Bella in the beginning, but had loved her almost immediately. His wide grin almost made up for the fact that Rosalie refused to smile. I had to give her some level of credit though, she wasn’t glaring.
Emmett patted Bella on the back, shaking her slightly. As careful as he tried to be, he was still a bear of a guy. “You haven’t changed at all,” he cracked. “I expected a perceptible difference, but here you are, red-faced, just like always.”
“Thanks a lot, Emmett,” she said, blushing even deeper. That was Emmett’s gift to me. There were so many things I loved about Bella, but I always liked to see the pink color in her cheeks when she blushed, which was often.
He laughed at her embarrassment. “I have to step out for a minute,” he said, winking at Alice. We all knew what he was up to, but Bella was clueless and curious. “Don’t do anything funny while I’m gone.”
Alice skipped over towards Bella, her perfect white teeth sparkling in the bright light of the room. Jasper smiled as well, but remained at the foot of the stairs. When he went with Alice and Bella to Phoenix he had been very close to Bella, yet never posed a danger to her. It was a job he had – to protect her and he took it seriously. Since we all had returned to Forks he kept his distance, as a precaution more than an aversion as was the case with Rosalie.
There was a long time in Jasper’s life as a vampire that he hunted humans and he had more difficulty with our diet than the rest of us did.
“Time to open presents,” Alice declared, gently leading Bella by the elbow to the cake table.
Bella protested slightly, but played along. “Alice, I know I told you I didn’t want anything–”.
Alice crossed her arms across her chest and smiled smugly. “But I didn’t listen.” She then took the camera from Bella’s hands and replaced it with a big, square box.
Bella reacted to the gift as though it should have been heavy and was surprised by its lightness. A look of confusion crossed her face and she read the card on top. “From Emmett, Rosalie, and Jasper.”
She hesitantly tore the paper and stared at the box it concealed. She had no idea what it was -- only that it was empty.
“Um…thanks,” she said.
I noticed that Rosalie cracked a smile. She couldn’t help herself. Jasper laughed and explained it to Bella. “It is a stereo for your truck. Emmett is installing it right now so that you can’t return it.”
I had to smile as well. Alice knew enough to know that Bella would go to that effort if given the opportunity. I was also pleased that the gift surprised her, even after my hints at it with the complaints about her sound system earlier in the afternoon.
“Thanks, Japer, Rosalie,” Bella smiled. Then she yelled out towards the front of the house. “Thanks, Emmett!”
We could all hear Emmett laugh all the way from the truck and it was a nice break in the mood Bella had arrived in.
“Open mine and Edward’s next,” Alice said with so much excitement she practically squealed. She held out the small, flat, square box that Bella had refused this morning at school.
Bella turned to me with a disapproving glare. “You promised.”
Just then Emmett bounded through the front door, pushing in behind Jasper who had moved in close enough to see the gift. “Just in time!”
I brushed a strand of hair from Bella’s face and smiled. “I didn’t spend a dime.”
Bella took a deep breath and reached for the gift. “Give it to me,” she sighed.
Emmett let out a chuckle. I knew they all were living out their own birthdays through this one.
Bella rolled her eyes at me, convinced I had broken my promise to her, which I had not.
She slipped her finger under the edge of the paper to tear the tape and muttered, “Shoot.”
That was the moment when the glorious evening took a dangerous and emotional turn.
I knew instantly what had happened. She had cut her finger on the paper. I just smelled her blood and I knew the others could as well. I sensed Jasper as he quickly changed into the hunter. Suddenly, Bella was the hunted.

Little Ashes Review
COPIED AND PASTE
Presenting Luis Buñuel as boisterous and domineering, Salvador Dali as an insecure, pretentious performer and Federico GarcÃa Lorca as a tortured romantic, Little Ashes tells a tale of (mostly) forbidden love amongst Spain's most notorious (partially) Surrealist gang of rebels. It simplifies these larger-than-life figures, whose known work expands far beyond the character attributes demonstrated in this film, reducing them to one-note signifiers to further a queer agenda. Identification filters through Lorca (Javier Beltran), the political martyr, as he and Buñuel (Matthew McNulty) develop a close bond with Dali (Robert Pattinson), an overly affected new student at their University. Brief mentions are made of their art and politics, with Buñuel idealizing France as a bastion of freedom, but mostly we get Lorca giving Dali doe-eyed glances when not ignoring the flirtations of his writer friend, Magdalena (Marina Gatell). While these romantic complications do indeed provide ire and tension, putting ideology to the test with a homophobic, gay-bashing Buñuel (a potential cinematic embellishment), a lack of vested energy in surrounding narrative trajectories limits the overall experience. The only moments filmed with passion and intensity are those of homosexual desire, with the camera lingering on brief kisses and touches, relegating Magdalena's pain to a clumsy scene of realization, with a requisite second-long sad expression, and Buñuel's contribution of a few uttered "faggots" and an unexplained change of heart. Even the climax of the film — a tragic end that most of us are familiar with — is limited to a brief scene of street panic, jumping sloppily to the inevitable conclusion. Had equal amounts passion and subtlety fuelled sequences unfortunately deemed erroneous (along with significant character consideration), this interesting tale could easily have gone from curious failure to a sweeping emotional success. As it stands, Ashes is little more than a slight to the men it portrays, boasting a handful of powerful moments, but mostly flat plot machinations. Included with the DVD are cast and crew interviews. Rob sexiest Taylor Sexy and Skygard Hot
COPIED AND PASTE
Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson is king of the vampires. He topped True Blood’s Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd and “New Moon’s Taylor Lautner by a wide margin in an Improper poll.
The final results are in after fans cast nearly 8,000 votes. Rob leads with 66 percent of the vote, followed by Alexander with 21 percent of the vote and Taylor with 13 percent.
Rob’s dedicated fans turned out in droves to express their feelings for the star of the “Twilight” series. Taylor is building his own fan base since his star turn in “New Moon” but Team Taylor is no match for Team Rob.
SkarsgÃ¥rd has been developing a dedicated following just like Rob ever since being cast in 2008 as the sexy vampire Eric Northman in the hit HBO series “True Blood.”
The poll also included “New Moon’s” Taylor because of the outstanding job he did in the “Twilight” sequel and the rise of “Team Jacob,” the legion of fans who support the hot young actor.
Outside of the Twilight series, Taylor is developing a career as an action-adventure hero. He has considerable martial arts skills.
While Rob’s fans are still the most dedicated and most active, Taylor made a late surge in the voting whittling away both Rob’s and Alexander’s leads.
Rob’s margin of victory fell from a preliminary tally of 72 percent to 66 percent and Alexander slipped to 21 percent to 26 percent of the vote.
Taylor surged from a distant third with only 2 percent of the vote to 13 percent.
The gorgeous 6′4″ Swede will show off his superfit physique this season as his bad-boy character has more provocative sex scenes with both male and female characters. Rob also has a bad-boy aura that makes him irresistible as Edward Cullen.
Fans are rooting for him to hook up with Sokie in the upcoming season, which Alexander promises will be racier than ever, including ramped up nude scenes. Look out!
“There’s a lot of nudity [in Season 3],” SkarsgÃ¥rd promises. “There’s going to be a lot violence and a lot of sex [for Eric] — with women and men! So it should be interesting.”
Season Three of “True Blood” begins filming later this month and airs on HBO in June 2010. “Twilight” sequel is in theaters now and the next installments “Eclipse,” and “Breaking Dawn” will appear in the summer and fall of 2010

Who Is Hollywood's Heart-Throb?
At 37, Jude Law is ageing and several newbies are knocking at the doors of Hollywood vying for that tag of heart-throb. And the most prominent amongst these names is that of Robert Pattinson, who has gained massive popularity owing to his depiction of vampire Edward Cullen in the ‘Twilight’ franchisee.
And actor Jude Law isn’t complaining. He admits that he was never comfortable with the tag and craves for recognition as a great actor and not a great pin-up boy.
.“If I have a look around at the moment I feel great relief because finally others are entering the limelight. Men like Robert Pattinson must now play the Adonis. For me it was always a restraint, a restriction. My goal was always to be recognised as a good actor but no one was interested in that, simply because society just wants to warm towards your appearance. This is the great blemish of society. When you suddenly appear on the scene and you are the new face, everything centres on you. I experienced this in my mid-20s and I found it rather hard,” Jude Law told a German newspaper.
Hey gals, who do you think deserves the title of ‘Hollywood’s Heart-Throb’……..

Orlando Bloom Feels Sorry For Rob
COPIED AND PASTE
British actor Orlando Bloom has said that he feels sorry for fellow thespian Robert Pattinson because of the attention he receives.
The 33-year-old Pirates Of The Caribbean star was speaking at the recent Sundance Film Festival in Utah, and revealed that the media's attention on him increased ten-fold after his role in Lord Of The Rings, in 2002, catapulted him to fame.
Asked how he coped, he said: 'I kept myself busy with work, but now it's crazy!
“Look at that guy Robert Pattinson. The poor guy can't go anywhere now!'

Simon Cowell Wants Rob to Help Haiti
COPIED AND PASTE
Miley Cyrus in on board, as well as Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey and Michael Buble to cover R.E.M.'s classic tune, "Everybody Hurts," for a Haiti benefit single that "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell is organizing. And, now comes word that Simon is trying to get — wait for it — "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson to sing on the track.
Robert does have musical abilities, so it isn’t that crazy that he would want to help out the victims of the Haiti earthquake in this way (he was on hand for last Friday's "Hope for Haiti" benefit as well). But, sources tell the UK's The Sun that Rob, who contributed to the "Twilight" soundtrack and sang in his movie "How To Be," isn't sure he wants to work with Simon.
"Robert is reluctant to be turned into a pop star — and takes his music very seriously," the source told the newspaper. "He is a bit wary of signing up with Cowell who is, of course, associated with 'X Factor' and pop."
Well, if Robert doesn't sign on there's plenty of star power on the track including: Take That, Westlife, Alexandra Burke, James Morrison, Mika and James Blunt. All proceeds will be split between The Sun's Helping Haiti fund and the official Disasters Emergency Committee appeal.
So, do you think that Rob should sing on the track? Or, do you think he should hold off on putting out any new music?
FROM MTV
Chris Cooper talks about Rob and Remember Me Set
With Sundance still in full swing, MTV got a chance to catch up with actor Chris Cooper in Park City and ask him about what is sure to be one of the bigger movies of the year: "Remember Me." Though the film isn't at the film festival, Chris had a few things to share about working with Robert Pattinson.
"We put up barricades 90 feet from the scene, and the people and paparazzi just didn't care," Chris said about the people who would swarm to watch scenes with Rob being filmed. "Robert was really under the gun, under a lot of pressure, and I know he's kind of learning to deal with it. And it's a lot to deal with."
Chris attributed "instant messaging" (the older generation's all encompassing term for text messaging, Facebook, and Twitter) for the amounts of people who would flock to the "Remember Me" set when they shot outdoor scenes. He said having NYU's campus nearby meant a lot of young female fans came to the set for a chance to see RPattz.
"He was doing scenes with a crowd of people 30 feet away from him and the paparazzi would not stop clicking the camera and there was a couple of hot, heated periods with the director [Allen Coulter] with that kind of intrusion," Chris said. "I know at his age, no way I could have handled it."
Coming from an Academy Award-winning actor, that says a lot. But Chris came into his own in Hollywood at a much later age than Rob did, and we wouldn't quite classify him as a young heartthrob, so when he makes comments like, "I think this is all kind of new to Robert," we think he might be talking more about himself than the man who has worked publicity for two "Twilight" movies.
What do you think about Chris' comments? How well does Robert handle all the attention?
