Simon Cowell Wants Rob to Help Haiti

NOW I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE OR IF HE WILL DO IT

COPIED AND PASTE

Miley Cyrus in on board, as well as Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey and Michael Buble to cover R.E.M.'s classic tune, "Everybody Hurts," for a Haiti benefit single that "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell is organizing. And, now comes word that Simon is trying to get — wait for it — "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson to sing on the track.

Robert does have musical abilities, so it isn’t that crazy that he would want to help out the victims of the Haiti earthquake in this way (he was on hand for last Friday's "Hope for Haiti" benefit as well). But, sources tell the UK's The Sun that Rob, who contributed to the "Twilight" soundtrack and sang in his movie "How To Be," isn't sure he wants to work with Simon.

"Robert is reluctant to be turned into a pop star — and takes his music very seriously," the source told the newspaper. "He is a bit wary of signing up with Cowell who is, of course, associated with 'X Factor' and pop."

Well, if Robert doesn't sign on there's plenty of star power on the track including: Take That, Westlife, Alexandra Burke, James Morrison, Mika and James Blunt. All proceeds will be split between The Sun's Helping Haiti fund and the official Disasters Emergency Committee appeal.

So, do you think that Rob should sing on the track? Or, do you think he should hold off on putting out any new music?
