Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson spoofed on Saturday Night Live last night. Most fans did not as I did not find the spoof funny.
Saturday Night Live is known for hitting below the belt, but this skit didn’t hit at all. Ryan Phillippe played Robert Pattinson and portrayed him as a witless teen beside Kristen Stewart who was portayed in an equally unflattering light. The skit’s only saving grace was that it was about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, and therefore, was watched by me and other Twilight fans.
Adam Sandberg played a dishelveled interviewer who mocks Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart for being dishelved. Dumb premise.
Saturday Night Live used to be so funny, but it seems they have lost something either in talent, writing, or both.
The skit about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart also included some digs at other celebrities but either went too far in the stupid direction or not far enough to be funny. The SNL skit just fell flat.
In the interview, Kristen Stewart manages to deny she's dating Robert Pattinson only proving that SNL is reading all the Twilight blogs. It just wasnt' funny.
